About The Position

The Data Management Intern will support the organization, analysis and communication of data for STEM360, including its data hub and dashboard. The role provides dedicated support for keeping STEM360 data current and reliable, while offering hands-on experience in data management and analysis to a current student, recent graduate or beginning professional in a related field.

The position is remote within Kentucky, offers a flexible schedule of up to 10 hours per week, and pays $16.50 to $20.50 per hour based on educational level. The proposed start date is December 1, 2026; continuation depends on organizational needs, available funding and performance. A portfolio, GitHub repository or class project is welcome.

Requirements

• The position is intended for a current student, recent graduate or beginning professional in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, education research, public policy or a related field.

• Experience with spreadsheets, data analysis or data-visualization tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, organize and document education, program, survey and workforce data.
• Analyze data and create summaries, tables, charts and visualizations for STEM360 reports, presentations and dashboards.
• Support dashboard updates, data-quality reviews and research on STEM education access, outcomes and workforce connections.
