About The Position

The University of Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM), actively seeks a motivated and experienced individual to join us as the Data Management Analyst III. Leveraging advanced statistical methods and data visualization tools, this role will analyze performance data to identify trends, uncover opportunities for improvement, and generate insightful reports for senior leadership. By collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, they tailor data insights to support informed decision-making across the organization. This role ensures data quality and integrity by establishing governance procedures, monitoring data consistency, and setting data collection standards. Additionally, this role will develop interactive performance dashboards, providing stakeholders with real-time access to key metrics in a clear and actionable format. Through trend analysis and forecasting, they will help anticipate future challenges and opportunities, enabling proactive strategy development to drive continuous performance improvement. Requirements

Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead AAAEM Benchmark Survey submissions utilizing Business Objects.
Collaborate with the health system to ensure data consistency and alignment with submissions like Vizient.
Support administration of Earned Variable Compensation (EVC) with required wRVUs and other associated data to accurately administer multiple plans.
Develop and implement KPIs aligned with departmental goals to assess provider performance, operational efficiency, and productivity.
Utilize statistical analysis and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Conduct trend analysis and forecasting to anticipate challenges and opportunities, supporting proactive decision-making.
Establish and maintain data governance procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity in performance data.
Create interactive dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for key stakeholders.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of departmental data requests, including intake form administration, prioritization of requests, coordination with data resources, tracking deliverables, and communication of results to key stakeholders.
Monitor data quality and refine data collection processes to enhance reporting accuracy.
Work closely with leadership, clinicians, and operational teams to understand their performance needs and provide tailored analytical support.
Liaise with Shands Decision Support Services (DSS) team to build and update Emergency Medicine data reports.
Generate comprehensive reports to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
Effectively communicate data insights through visual storytelling and presentations to diverse audiences.
