About The Position

MRI Software is seeking an entry-level Data Management Analyst I with a strong foundation in accounting principles to join their Investment Suite team in Atlanta, GA or Solon, OH. This role involves delivering high-touch, white-glove managed services to multiple clients using MRI’s proprietary software solutions. The analyst will be responsible for collecting, uploading, and validating recurring financial data and documents (monthly, quarterly, and annually) from various sources to support client reporting needs. Additionally, the position supports and advances ongoing team and company automation initiatives, including using tools like Power Automate and Excel macros to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Success requires consistent communication with clients and data providers, adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and providing a professional, reliable client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Technical experience with Power Automate (including flows) and Excel macros
  • Experience with MS SQL

Responsibilities

  • Collect financial data and supporting documents from multiple sources
  • Utilize and maintain in-house data processing applications
  • Validate the accuracy and completeness of financial information
  • Communicate regularly with clients and data providers
  • Ensure timely delivery of services in alignment with SLAs
