About The Position

Enterprise Knowledge (EK) is hiring a full-time Data, Knowledge, and AI Strategy Lead Consultant for its Strategic Consulting practice. The role leads knowledge, data, and AI initiatives, providing strategic guidance on operational design and AI vision so organizations can build the data foundations needed to realize value from enterprise AI. The consultant works with Fortune 500, global, and public sector clients to assess current states, shape visions, and design the people, processes, and ways of working that help semantic initiatives scale. The role involves leading executive conversations, facilitating stakeholder workshops, translating complex organizational challenges into practical recommendations and roadmaps, and quickly synthesizing client needs into guidance on how organizations should operate. The consultant also coaches project team members, contributes to internal practices and growth initiatives, and participates in thought leadership. The office is in Arlington, Virginia, with a hybrid model; remote candidates may be hired if they reside in specified states. EK does not provide immigration-related support for this position.

Requirements

5–7 years of management consulting or strategy experience, including demonstrated experience leading client engagements or major workstreams.
Experience leading strategy, organizational design, or operating model projects from discovery through recommendations and implementation planning to execution.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize ambiguous information, identify patterns, and develop confident, well-supported recommendations.
Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating workshops with senior and executive stakeholders.
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, including experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations.
Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
Must not require employer-provided immigration support or sponsorship for employment authorization.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated experience with knowledge management (KM), data, content, or information management strategy.
Familiarity with semantic concepts such as taxonomy, ontology, knowledge graphs, and semantic layers, and how they enable enterprise AI.
Advanced facilitation experience, including designing and leading in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions for large or senior-level groups.
Change management and communications experience.
Experience with strategic planning and business development in the management consulting industry.
Experience with budget management and team planning.
Experience mentoring or supervising junior consultants.

Responsibilities

Lead Data, Semantic Layer, and AI strategy engagements from end to end, including current-state assessments, target-state visioning, business cases, and outcome-based roadmaps.
Lead operating model design and implementation approaches for semantic and AI initiatives, defining roles, responsibilities, organizational structures, ways of working, and implementation sequencing.
Lead engagement with business and technical stakeholders, shaping semantic initiative visions and strategies and fostering buy-in by demonstrating business value.
Design and facilitate executive workshops and working sessions to align diverse stakeholders on priorities, outcomes, and next steps.
Analyze client information and synthesize findings into insights, viable recommendation pathways, and project deliverable artifacts.
Lead executive communications and presentations, developing narratives and recommendations for senior client audiences through presentations, proposals, demos, and other client-facing materials.
Guide and coach consultants on project teams, modeling strong consulting practices and providing day-to-day direction and feedback.
Collaborate with leadership to develop internal practices, teams, and strategic initiatives that support growth activities.
Contribute thought leadership through articles, social media, and marketing efforts.
Continue developing mastery of core consulting skills.
