About The Position

At tkMNA, we provide a foundation to foster and support a safe, professional, and fulfilling experience. This Data Internship is designed to provide hands-on experience and on-the-job training for college students interested in analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision making. Interns will work on real-world data projects of varying complexity, gaining exposure to data collection, cleaning, analysis, and modeling techniques. This role supports professional data analysis and cross-functional teams, enabling interns to build practical skills and apply academic knowledge in a business environment.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 1 year) from an accredited university or college in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Basic understanding of data analysis, statistics, and/or machine learning concepts
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to understand and follow complex technical instructions
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies
Ability to think critically, manage multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with data tools such as SQL, Excel, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

Responsibilities

Learn organizational data processes, systems, and governance practices
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing structured and unstructured data for analysis
Contribute to assigned data science or analytics projects, including exploratory data analysis and model development
Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data documentation
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven solutions
Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
Communicate findings clearly through visualizations, presentations, and written summaries
Work in a team environment, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
Assemble and deliver information in a timely and efficient manner
Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
