As a Data Analyst Intern at Intelcom, you will help evaluate volume and density fluctuations to support proactive planning, while identifying areas suitable for electric vehicles. This is a highly data-focused role requiring strong Excel skills and ideally familiarity with Power BI.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, AI, or a related field.
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Knowledge of Python, SQL, R, and Streamlit is an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze volume fluctuations to support proactive planning.
Identify density variations and provide actionable insights.
Assess areas suitable for efficient electric vehicle coverage.
Conduct data analyses and generate reports using Excel.
Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
Extract and analyze data from Snowflake using SQL.
Collaborate with various departments to collect and harmonize data.
Automate daily reports and improve analytical processes.
Present findings and recommendations to management.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders across Canada.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
