About The Position

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will engage across all functions of the company, including corporate and clinical functions. Your responsibilities will include aggregating data sets utilizing a combination of software, SQL, and Alteryx, and building custom visualizations within Tableau. In this position, you will apply critical thinking to ensure data integrity and quality control is applied to each data set and have the opportunity to present your analysis and products to internal customers. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team.

Requirements

  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, including Outlook and Word
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Proficient with Microsoft SQL
  • 0 to 2 years' experience with large data sets, data dissemination, and complex problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Professional and excellent communication

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in finance, decision sciences, healthcare, business, or another analytical discipline strongly preferred
  • Expressed interest in healthcare management and analytics
  • Previous dialysis experience a strong plus
  • Strong communication and being a self-starter are preferred
  • Tableau and Alteryx skills a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist analysts and supervisors in data aggregation.
  • Prepare data through use of SQL and Alteryx for optimal performance in Tableau Reporting.
  • Assist with tableau visualizations and fine-tuning.
  • Participates in team concepts and promotes a team effort.
  • Performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Attend various stakeholder meetings and take notes and help with follow-up.
  • Assist in data requirements documentation.
  • Participate in activities to enhance connection to the company as a whole and encourage personal growth.
  • Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as necessary ad hoc reports.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and Privacy standards.
