About The Position
We are seeking a Data Analyst Intern for an 8-week summer internship. This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with the Director of Data on high-impact projects that feed into real reporting and operational systems. You won’t be doing busy work—this role is designed to give you ownership of meaningful projects and exposure to how data drives growth in a PE-backed environment.
Requirements
- Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate in a quantitative or analytical field (Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, MIS, Economics, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data organization)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work through ambiguity and incomplete datasets
- Clear written communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Prior coursework or experience in accounting, finance, or data analysis
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and standardizing insurance carrier data for reporting accuracy
- Identifying and analyzing duplicate client records across systems
- Reconstructing historical revenue using financial and operational data
- Building organized, reliable datasets used in internal and investor reporting
