About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking a Data Implementation Specialist to join their Planning & Analytics for Total Health (PATH) team. This team uses real-time data insights and clinical expertise to improve healthcare decision-making by transforming employee benefits data into actionable strategies. The role focuses on enhancing plan performance, controlling costs, and promoting healthier workforces through comprehensive data analysis and optimization of benefits programs. The Data Implementation Specialist will be responsible for coordinating projects, communicating with clients and vendors, preparing status updates, and managing project documentation to ensure smooth and transparent implementation processes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Effective oral and written communication and relationship building skills essential
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • Must be a self-starter and demonstrate resourcefulness
  • Knowledgeable of data privacy standards and HIPAA requirements
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge/experience in the insurance or managed care industry preferred
  • Two years related experience in an administrative and/or project management environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Keeping implementation projects moving forward through clear, consistent communication and meticulous organization.
  • Coordinating with clients, data warehouse vendors, and internal teams to evaluate needs, align expectations, and maintain project timelines.
  • Preparing and sharing status updates, acting as the primary liaison between stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all stakeholders have the necessary information to meet milestones.
  • Managing and maintaining project documentation, organizing files, and updating trackers like Excel, Smartsheet, and other project management tools.
  • Handling daily administrative tasks such as updating schedules, logging issues, scheduling calls, and following up on action items.
  • Balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fostering positive relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Anticipating needs and smoothing handoffs between technical and non-technical partners.
