In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the data cataloging and metadata strategy for the product, ensuring data is accurately tagged, described, and governed according to established policies, making it readily consumable. You will also work with data owners to define and enforce data quality rules and access control policies, acting as a key member of the 'Enabling Team' that supports data providers and consumers.

Requirements

Experience with data cataloging tools and automated tagging platforms.
Familiarity with Palantir Foundry's data governance features is also beneficial.
Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.
Knowledge of DoW data standards, metadata guidance, and data classification requirements (e.g., CUI).
An active Secret federal security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Lead the integration and operationalization of the automated metadata publishing service tool to automate metadata extraction and the application of classification and security tags.
Ensure that all data products within the data catalog are accurately tagged, described, and governed according to DoW policies, making them 'readily consumable'.
Work with data owners to define and enforce data quality rules and access control policies.
