About The Position

At SAIF, our data governance mission is twofold: to enable strong, informed business decisions through trusted data, and to foster a culture where data is used responsibly, consistently, and effectively across the enterprise. As a data governance analyst, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and applying SAIF’s enterprise data governance program. You will serve as a subject‑matter expert in metadata management, enabling data stewardship, governance, and data quality and issue management. Partnering with both business and technology stakeholders, you’ll support and coordinate data stewardship activities, decisions, and governance forums. It’s crucial that you bring hands-on experience with business and technical metadata, data classification, reference data, and data quality to this position. You’ll also need experience applying data governance policies, standards, and stewardship models at an enterprise level. SAIF’s growing data governance program is working to improve data quality and build trust in data as all members of the organization make business decisions. Joining this team means you’ll be a key builder of our data culture. While you are required to live in Oregon, SAIF employees enjoy remote, in-office, and hybrid work schedules.
