About The Position

The Data Analyst will be working in a dynamic environment/team, requiring an individual who can learn quickly and adapt to change in support of projects and initiatives of critical systems here at SRP. The team is made up of incredibly skilled and experienced people focused on delivering quality solutions in a highly collaborative environment. The desired candidate will have a strong background in business analysis practices, project management fundamentals and data management experience/knowledge, as well as a desire to become part of a team-oriented experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in standard business analysis practices and project management practices.
  • Ability to work with business users and IT technical staff in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple data services and continue to expand knowledge of data practices, services and offerings.
  • Work with team members to proactively identify issues/risks and contribute to solutions.
  • Work with the business to facilitate project meetings.
  • Develop project plans and execute on plans.
  • Catalog metadata utilizing the metamodel, as well as being able to instruct others on the team with best practices, standards and performing the data catalog services to meet our business expectations and needs.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance and Information Stewardship as part of the Enterprise Information & Data Governance team around data management/information management best practices, content and training development as well as knowledge of standards, policies, etc.
  • Perform data quality services including Ten Steps™ to Quality Data to enable the Enterprise to utilize foundational data quality practices and application capabilities.
