About The Position

The Data Governance Analyst will have a vital role in ensuring the integrity, security, and efficient management of the organization's data assets. This position requires a highly skilled individual with a strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, as well as expertise in data management tools. Develop and implement data governance strategies and policies with a focus on Master Data Management (MDM). Monitor and carry out data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations and ensure data privacy, security, and Identity Access Rights measures are in place. Apply Data Management Tools such as Atlan, Profisee, and DQ tools to support data governance initiatives. Analyze and resolve data governance issues, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the organization. Collaborate with multi-functional teams and conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify and address data management gaps. Deliver training and support to collaborators on data governance standard methodologies and MDM processes.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Commutable distance to Tampa, FL.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in data governance or data management roles, with a focus on Master Data Management and strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Experience in CPG industry or sector, with knowledge of industry-specific financial practices and regulations.
  • Highly skilled with Data Management Tools such as Atlan, Profisee, and DQ tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional designations like Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) preferred.
