About The Position

The Boeing Company is hiring Associate, Experienced, and Senior-level Systems Software Engineers to support its Software Development team within the Phantom Works Network Centric Operations team in Berkeley, Missouri, in the St. Louis area. The team develops platform-agnostic software capabilities for network operations supporting tactical fighter aircraft and the Boeing Defense, Space & Security Software Engineering organization. The Data Fusion Software Engineer develops and prototypes advanced sensor-fusion algorithms using mathematical and statistical techniques to track and combine data from multiple sensors and sources. The role evaluates algorithm performance against key performance indicators and partners with software architects to transition successful prototypes into production-ready capabilities. The position calls for collaboration, accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, adaptability, and the ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical solutions in a multi-contract, multi-program environment. The position requires completion of a technical coding assessment as part of the selection process, satisfaction of the company’s Conflict of Interest assessment, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required after starting. Applicants must meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person. Boeing will not sponsor employment visas. Travel is up to 10%, and relocation may be offered based on eligibility. This is a Shift 1 position and is not safety sensitive or contingent upon a program award.
