About The Position

This role provides essential support for system configuration, user management, and training materials, primarily focused on data entry and system updates within an EHR environment. The position involves detailed configuration of various system components, including follow-up worklists, order building, lab orders, flowsheets, and templates. Additionally, it requires monitoring support channels, managing user accounts, validating user roles, and formatting documentation. A significant portion of the role also involves medication configuration and implementation, including managing the Drug Item Master, Medical Formulary, Order Checks, and Order Management, as well as supporting go-live activities by transferring inventory and adjusting amounts. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, adherence to provided scripts and guidance, and effective communication with the EHR Team.

Responsibilities

  • Configure follow-up worklists per organization, including reasons for follow-up, group creation, user addition, status outlines, and follow-up letters.
  • Build and create non-medication orders per organization, adding them to applicable organizations and creating order sets/groups.
  • Build lab orders for any additional lab needs per organization.
  • Update permissions and groupings for any additional flowsheet modifications.
  • Add permissions to templates as requested.
  • Perform manual review of environments to note differences between configured templates and provide findings to the EHR Team. Make updates to template configuration as requested.
  • Configure ProDash per organization, including provider access.
  • Create billing templates on each existing template using a provided outline and validate conditional logic.
  • Perform system validation testing using a provided script post system updates and share findings with the EHR Team.
  • Monitor end-user support channels and provide support based on provided scripts and common issue resolutions.
  • Communicate with the EHR Team when support is needed beyond the provided script.
  • Complete updates to end-user accounts as received, including adding end dates, updating locations, adding user roles, and updating last names. Notify the EHR Team if an account is not located.
  • Test user roles as new features or changes are implemented that could impact them, and report findings.
  • Test user roles per new/copied environments to ensure accuracy.
  • Format Scribe documentation to be more human-readable.
  • Create training videos and other materials based on provided scripts/guidance.
  • Process EHR Training registration requests by verifying access setup in respective environments and notify the EHR Team of inaccuracies.
  • Configure the Drug Item Master by selecting each site for each drug item.
  • Configure the Medical Formulary by selecting each site and applying individual drug items.
  • Create order checks for each site per provided instructions.
  • Complete medication building of orderable items per site, repeating the process for order groups and order sets.
  • Add respective Regional Medical Director per site for specific orderable items.
  • Transfer applicable lots from regional/central pharmacy to each site ahead of their go-live.
  • Set initial inventory by lot at each site prior to the site go-live.
  • Manually adjust inventory amounts from the final current system count to the future system as requested.
  • Complete new drug building at all applicable sites per each environment as requested.
  • Complete updates to drug items at all applicable sites per environment as requested.
