About The Position

Smitech Engineering Pte Ltd, a forward-thinking and innovative engineering firm, is seeking a meticulous and highly organised Data Entry Specialist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, remote position. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining critical technical and project-related data across our various digital platforms. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our engineering projects by guaranteeing the integrity and availability of our information.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar position.
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is an asset.
• A reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Accurately input, update, and maintain data in company databases and computer systems from various source documents.
• Review data for errors, deficiencies, or inconsistencies, and perform necessary corrections to ensure high-quality information.
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data integrity and security policies at all times.
• Organise and manage files and documents effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data is collected and entered in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide general administrative support as required.
