About The Position

Shamrock Roofing & Construction is a family-owned roofing and construction company headquartered in Kansas City and has been operating since 1977. In the last few years, our business has exploded in the Midwest with additional locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas. This growth has allowed us to expand our team and offer more employment opportunities at home and surrounding markets. Although we’ve grown exponentially, we haven’t lost the “family-owned” business feel. We are now looking to fill a Seasonal Data Entry Specialist position. This position is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining company data to support our sales and operations teams during peak business periods. This role will require close attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage high volumes of information efficiently.

Requirements

1-2 years of data entry or administrative experience preferred
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Shamrock uses Google Business Suite)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and focus
Basic problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working with computers and multiple systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Reliable and dependable work ethic

Responsibilities

Enter and update customer, job, and claims data into company systems with a high degree of accuracy.
Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain organized digital records and ensure proper documentation is completed and stored.
Assist with processing paperwork related to roofing projects, claims, and customer accounts.
Follow company policies and procedures for data management and confidentiality.
Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy goals
Communicate effectively with internal team members regarding data-related questions or issues.
