About The Position

As a Customer Reporting Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our data is accurate, complete, and on time. You will report to the Manager of Customer Reporting. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional experience utilizing Field Operations (FOMS), Work Management (WMIS), or Customer Management Systems (CMS) within a construction environment.
  • Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite with a demonstrated ability to master new technologies and ensure high-level data accuracy.
  • Practical understanding of, or experience within, the natural gas utility industry.
  • Proven ability to manage complex organizational tasks and navigate multiple technical platforms simultaneously to meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily field labor reports and execute high-volume data entry for service and main installations into the Customer Reporting System.
  • Manage the daily retrieval and release of work orders, ensuring all completed tasks are accurately logged in tracking systems.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on corporate policies and customer regulations to ensure all data entry meets strict industry standards.
  • Perform data entry to relieve and balance inventory levels within the reporting system, maintaining real-time material accuracy.
  • Generate comprehensive quarterly reports on completed work orders and corrections to provide leadership with actionable operational insights.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal staff and customer representatives to facilitate communication and resolve technical or reporting issues.
  • Organize and maintain secure electronic and paper-based filing systems to ensure audit readiness and information accessibility.
  • Engage in cross-departmental training and provide surge support to other teams to maintain seamless business continuity.
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
