About The Position

The Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) is a dairy farmer-owned cooperative and processor founded in 1916. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years of data entry experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong data entry speed with minimal errors.
  • Basic understanding of production processes and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to escalate discrepancies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics D365, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and update production orders, inventory transactions, and material movements into the ERP system.
  • Process bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and work order data.
  • Verify production data against source documents (shop floor paperwork, inventory logs, shipping/receiving records).
  • Assist with maintaining item master data, part numbers, and product specifications.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliations.
  • Monitor data integrity and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Generate routine production and inventory reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors, warehouse staff, purchasing, and accounting to ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records in compliance with company policies.
  • Adhere to company safety standards and production protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned.
