Requirements

  • Proven experience in a data entry role or a similar position.
  • Excellent typing speed and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • A solid understanding of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately entering and updating data into various company databases and computer systems.
  • Verifying the accuracy and completeness of data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking the output.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
  • Preparing and sorting documents for data entry in an organised manner.
  • Retrieving data from databases or electronic files as requested by colleagues.
  • Assisting with the generation of reports and performing other administrative tasks as required.
