About The Position

The Data Entry Clerk position is a full-time, permanent role responsible for accurately recording job time studies, entering data into the Famous system, and creating/verifying tags for produce pallets. This role involves administrative support for production supervisors and other departments, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. The position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. The work environment is temperature-controlled, and the role involves physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, stretching, and lifting materials.

Requirements

  • Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner both written and verbally in English.
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, (Word and Excel specifically).
  • Proven ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to influence those that are not direct reports.
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to input data accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally with various departments.
  • Must be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example.
  • A positive attitude in the workplace is required.
  • Ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Famous or similar software is considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of production needs of produce or related industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Record time studies of completed jobs by the Repack team.
  • Enter data into the Famous system and record it on paper accurately.
  • Create appropriate tags specific to produce on pallets with information of size, quantity, country of origin, etc.
  • Check and verify all the input and output tags for discrepancies.
  • Attend meetings to discuss production issues and updates.
  • Assist Production Supervisors and Line Coordinators with daily ad hoc administrative duties and responsibilities.
  • Assist the Inventory Control Team and other departments as needed.
  • Perform other clerical duties as instructed by the Production Supervisors.
  • Tag the output and clean up the paperwork properly.
  • Verify label sheet from the label room.
  • Ensure all information is complete and accurate and escalate if not.
  • Send inquiry emails and to-do lists in a timely manner.
