About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Data Entry Operator to join our team in RTP, NC. This role involves performing data entry of patient results accurately and efficiently, printing and distributing daily worksheets, utilizing various laboratory systems, ensuring proper storage of test results, calling clients with results when necessary, ordering supplies, and performing other administrative and clerical tasks. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong data entry and typing skills
• Proficient with computers
• Comfortability with handling biological specimens
• Ability to accurately identify specimens
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
• Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs

Nice To Haves

• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of patient’s results in a timely and accurate manner
• Print out and distribute daily worksheets for technical staff
• Use various laboratory systems to enter test results
• Ensure test results are stored in their proper location
• Call client with test results when necessary
• Order supplies for the department when need
• Other administrative and clericals tasks as required
