About The Position

Revvity Omics, a division of Revvity, is a clinical molecular and biochemical laboratory offering a variety of different screening and diagnostic testing options. From prenatal screening before birth to newborn screening shortly after birth and whole genome sequencing through one’s lifetime. Our goal is to provide valuable and insightful information about potential underlying genetic conditions, guiding patients and providers to improved health outcomes. Part-Time | On-Site | Pittsburgh, PA Schedule: Monday, Tuesday & Saturday Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.

Nice To Haves

0-1 years of data entry experience
Previous clinical laboratory experience

Responsibilities

Enters alpha-numeric data from sample requisitions into LIS following format displayed on entry screen.
Compares data entered with information on sample requisitions and re-enters data if necessary.
Review completed work for errors, make corrections as needed.
Prepare and process outbound mail by inserting preprinted reports into envelops and sealing them for postal service delivery.
Coordinates paperwork and various required reports for high risk patients in the applicable departments.
Run reports at closing to resolve problems relating to: specimens collected at <24 hours, specimens lacking birth date and/or collection date, specimens with missing PA physician information.
Other tasks as requested by the Sr. Manager Customer Service.
