About The Position

The Data Engineer Intern is an entry-level, learning-focused role responsible for supporting the design and implementation of basic data pipelines. This role works on well-defined problems of limited scope where analysis of situations or data provides readily obtainable answers. Work is done under close guidance and supervision from senior engineers, and is reviewed frequently based on standard practices and procedures. Digital Turbine is a hybrid work environment-only candidates local to the posting location will be considered. We help mobile game developers acquire more players and maximize revenue on the games they have already created by leveraging high-scale, real‑time data and advanced models.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field
Basic proficiency in SQL and an understanding of relational database concepts
Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java
Solid understanding of basic data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to approach technical issues logically
