About The Position

The Data Engineer will analyze, extract, transform, and ingest data, and may analyze collected data to draw key insights. The role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing data infrastructure and systems, enhancing data processes, and leveraging data to support business outcomes. The ideal candidate has experience with cloud SQL Managed Instances, modern data engineering practices, and Agile software delivery. The position is based in Westlake, Texas, with day-one onsite work in a hybrid arrangement.

Requirements

6 to 9 years of data engineering experience.
Strong proficiency with database technologies including Oracle, Postgres, and SQL Server.
Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD, Git, Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Passion for data engineering and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality data pipelines and solutions for core applications.
Design, develop, enhance, and support data pipelines using Java, JavaScript, and full-stack capabilities.
Perform comprehensive data analysis to support business requirements.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Java.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient data ingestion and delivery.
