About The Position

Orchard LLC is seeking an Advana Engineer to support Army financial management and data modernization efforts. The Advana Engineer will contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of data solutions aimed at enhancing access to reliable, governed data for financial management and decision-making. This role involves working with the Department of War's (DoW) Advana platform to create and manage data pipelines, integrate data from financial and enterprise systems, and support data transformation, analysis, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Advana, data engineering, enterprise data integration, and modern data platforms, with the ability to translate complex technical and business requirements into scalable solutions.

Requirements

All candidates must possess a Secret clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
5+ years of enterprise application development, integration development, or related technical experience.
Experience building data solutions in Advana.
Strong SQL and data engineering skills across large, complex datasets.
Hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, integration, and processing.
Experience integrating enterprise data sources, databases, and ERP systems.
Ability to deliver scalable, reliable production data solutions and solve complex problems.
Strong communication, organization, and independent execution across competing priorities and deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of DoW and Army financial management, ERP systems, and enterprise data environments.
Direct experience with Army platforms such as GFEBS or GCSS-Army.
Experience with complex system integrations.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable Advana data pipelines and solutions.
Integrate and transform complex financial and enterprise data for Army reporting, analytics, and decision-making.
Develop data models, workflows, and analytical datasets that support mission and business needs.
Ensure data accuracy, security, quality, governance, and lineage throughout the lifecycle.
Partner with technical teams and government stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
Test, deploy, document, troubleshoot, and sustain production solutions while supporting users and resolving issues.
