About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking onshore contractor resources for a high-priority effort to replicate enterprise data from BigQuery into Databricks. The work requires direct, hands-on experience with this replication path, ideally building BigQuery-to-Databricks replication or ingestion pipelines. The position is fully remote and based out of Atlanta, Georgia. This is a contract role with an hourly pay range of $55.00–$62.00. The posting anticipates closing on October 21, 2026.

Requirements

• Strong BigQuery and Databricks data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills and data engineering fundamentals.
• Experience developing with PySpark and Databricks notebooks.
• Experience with BigQuery authorized views and federated connections.
• Strong understanding of Apache Iceberg.
• Experience with large-scale data movement, incremental replication, performance tuning, and optimization.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience building BigQuery-to-Databricks data replication or ingestion pipelines.
• Experience with Databricks-managed Iceberg and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with orchestration and productionizing Databricks jobs.

Responsibilities
