About The Position

As a Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you will implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects. You will develop and deploy pipelines and workflows that organize disparate data and make it meaningful. Working with a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in an agile environment, you will use analytical exploration and data examination to assess, design, build, and maintain analytic solutions for clients. Applicants must be able to obtain a Secret clearance and will be subject to a security investigation and any eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Requirements

• Experience using programming and querying languages such as Python, R, Scala, or SQL.
• Experience developing and maintaining data applications for reporting and analytics.
• Experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
• Experience building scalable ETL or ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
• Experience creating solutions in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
