Mid-Level Data Engineer
About The Position
Full Visibility is seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to be located in Huntsville, AL. This role is responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application. This includes developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software, facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information using advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, and establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data. The engineer will also design strategies for enterprise database systems, set standards for operations, programming, and security, design and construct large relational databases, and integrate new systems with existing warehouse structures while refining system performance and functionality.
Requirements
- ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI eligible clearance
- Six (6) years of experience in a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or in lieu of a degree, an additional four (4) years of relevant experience
- Experience with Java
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with Spark / Scala
- Experience with SQL / PLSQL
- Experience with Postgres
- Experience with NiFi
- Experience with Informatica
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Data pipelines (development, optimization, & tuning)
Nice To Haves
- May be subject to a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph examination based on their assignment after their start date.
- Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain any required CI Polygraph eligibility throughout the duration of their employment.
Responsibilities
- Developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software

- Integrating new systems with existing warehouse structure
- Refining system performance and functionality
