About The Position

The Principal Data Engineer will be responsible for developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems. This role will recommend and implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality. The Principal Data Engineer will develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production, ensuring that the architecture and quantitative output meet the needs of the data science and analytics teams and support the requirements of the business.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
Extensive experience in data engineering, including designing and implementing data architectures.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Strong knowledge of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their data services.
Experience with machine learning and data science workflows.
