About The Position
We are seeking a mid-level Data Engineer with experience in Azure Databricks for a hybrid role in Newtown Square, PA. This is a 6+ month contract position. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of data engineering experience and a strong understanding of Azure Databricks, going beyond basic data ingestion. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and scripting languages like SQL, Python, and PySpark is essential. Candidates must be able to pass a coding assessment covering Azure Databricks and PySpark. While healthcare industry experience is a must for senior roles to optimize processes, it is not a requirement for this mid-level position.
Requirements
- 3+ years of overall Data Engineering experience (mid-level).
- Azure Databricks expertise is a must.
- Basic familiarity with Azure Data Factory.
- Databricks familiarity beyond just ingesting data.
- Proficiency in scripting languages: SQL (must), Python, PySpark.
- Ability to pass a coding assessment in Azure Databricks, PySpark, etc.
