About The Position

We are seeking a Data Engineer with experience in Azure Databricks for a hybrid role in Newtown Square, PA. This is a 6+ month contract position. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of data engineering experience and a strong understanding of Azure Databricks, going beyond basic data ingestion. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Pyspark is essential, as candidates will be assessed on their coding abilities in these areas. While not a strict requirement for the mid-level role, familiarity with Azure Data Factory is beneficial, and healthcare industry experience is a plus for understanding process optimization.

Requirements

• 3+ years of overall Data Engineering experience (mid-level).
• Azure Databricks expertise.
• Familiarity with Databricks beyond data ingestion.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proficiency in Pyspark.
• Ability to pass coding assessment in Azure Databricks and Pyspark.

Nice To Haves

• Basic familiarity of Azure Data Factory.
