About The Position

The Data Engineer is responsible for expanding, optimizing, and monitoring data and data-pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection across organizational teams. The role supports software engineers, database architects, and data analysts on data initiatives and ensures consistent, optimal data-delivery architecture across ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data transformation, data structures, metadata management, and workload management.
• Experience developing SSIS, ETL, and other standardized data-management tools.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, and Azure cloud services.
• Strong project-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to work in a high-tech, continually evolving, innovative environment.
• Successful completion of a Health Care Sanctions background check.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain optimal data-pipeline architecture to support next-generation products and data initiatives.
• Integrate large, complex data sets to meet functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Build analytics tools that use the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into member growth, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
