About The Position

The Data Engineer will expand, optimize, and monitor data and data pipeline architecture, and optimize data flow and collection across organizational teams. The role supports software engineers, database architects, and data analysts on data initiatives, and ensures optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.

The position also develops analytics tools that use data pipelines to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in the development of SSIS, ETL, and other standardized data management tools.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Successful completion of a Health Care Sanctions background check.
• Willingness to work in a high-tech, continually evolving, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture to support next-generation products and data initiatives.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional business requirements.
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
• Develop using SSIS, ETL, and other standardized data management tools.
• Build analytics tools that use data pipelines to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key business performance metrics.
• Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency management, and workload management.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
