Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Data Engineer
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Python
  • Minimum 2 years experience in SQL
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions that support data generation, collection, and processing.
  • Creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing extract, transform, and load processes to migrate and deploy data across various systems.
  • Being a subject matter expert, collaborating and managing the team to perform effectively, taking responsibility for team decisions, engaging with multiple teams, and contributing to key decisions.
  • Providing solutions to problems that impact multiple teams.
  • Leading the design and optimization of scalable data architectures to support evolving business needs.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with organizational goals and technical standards.
  • Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues, fostering knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Analyzing complex data challenges and developing innovative approaches to enhance data reliability and efficiency.
  • Driving the adoption of best practices in data management and pipeline development to elevate overall quality.
  • Utilizing strong SQL & Python skills to engineer sound data pipelines and conduct routine and ad hoc analysis to assess the performance of legacy products and the saliency of new features.
  • Building reporting dashboards and visualizations to design, create and track campaign/program KPIs.
  • Performing analyses on large data sets to understand drivers of operational efficiency.
  • Managing end-to-end process of analytic tooling feature development, including request intake, requirements evaluation, cross-functional team alignment, feature execution, QA testing, and stakeholder communication.
  • Consulting with business analysts, technical data SMEs, and cross-functional partners to understand their reporting and data needs, serving as the point of contact for requests, inquiries, and actions.
  • Interfacing with other data engineering, product, and data science teams to implement client needs and initiatives.
