About The Position
The Data Engineer – AWS (Data Observability) will implement monitoring and observability across enterprise data pipelines to ensure reliability and data trust. The role involves building data quality checks and monitoring data freshness, volume, and schema; setting up observability tooling; and handling incident triage and root cause analysis while maintaining SLAs and runbooks.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Experience with AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, and CloudWatch.
- Python.
- SQL.
- Data quality frameworks.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with observability tools such as Monte Carlo, Great Expectations, CloudWatch, or Datadog.
