About The Position

You’ll develop and deploy the pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful. Requirements

2+ years of experience within data engineering, software engineering, data science, or data analytics
2+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores that supply big data in forms needed for business analysis
Experience utilizing programming languages, including Python
Experience with developing scalable ETL/ELT workflows for reporting and analytics
Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of data into usable formats and support project team to scale, monitor, and operate data platforms
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

Experience deploying analytics workloads on a platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS), including AWS EMR, Redshift, SageMaker, Databricks, SQL Data Warehouse, or machine learning service
Experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data
Experience with distributed or parallel programming frameworks, including Apache Spark or NVIDIA CUDA
Experience with DoD information systems and infrastructure as code frameworks and services, including Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience developing and presenting complex technical information for technical and non-technical audiences and senior leaders
Experience developing and deploying large-scale batch and stream analytics pipelines
Experience working with integrated groups comprised of customer success managers, infrastructure engineers, data scientists, and software engineers
Master’s degree in a CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics field
Cloud Development Certification such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Certification
Information Security Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Certification
