About The Position
The Data Engineer-Junior will support future Defense & Intelligence Programs for SOCPAC at Camp Smith, Hawaii. This role involves developing and maintaining basic ETL/ELT pipelines, assisting in data integration, cleaning, and validation, and contributing to data modeling, documentation, and process improvement initiatives. The position requires a current Top Secret/SCI clearance and is on-site 5 days a week.
Requirements
- Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required.
- 0–3 years of related experience (internship or academic project experience accepted).
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic familiarity with Windows or Linux commands
- Foundational experience with Python
- Foundational experience with SQL
- Experience with Git (Github and/or Gitlab)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with Databases (such as: Postgres, Elastic, etc.)
- US Citizenship Required: Yes
Nice To Haves
- Cloud foundational certifications preferred.
