Data Engineer II
About The Position
Ampcus Inc. is seeking a motivated Data Engineer to join the Field Experience (AFX), Revenue Lifecycle Automation and Intelligence (RAIn) team. The role involves designing and building scalable solutions that empower field teams, applying industry best practices to complex business problems, defining meaningful metrics, and creating systems that operate reliably at scale. The Data Engineer will work in a large, complex data warehouse environment, developing and supporting analytic technologies that provide customers with timely, flexible, and structured access to data. The role includes designing and implementing a platform using in-house reporting tools, modeling metadata, and building reports and dashboards in Quick Suite. The Data Engineer will also work with business customers to understand requirements and implement solutions for analytical and reporting needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of data engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using data modeling.
Nice To Haves
- Deep SQL fluency.
- Deep Python (or equivalent) fluency for orchestration, data quality automation, and pipeline tooling beyond SQL.
- Experience with AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions.
- Experience with non-relational databases or data stores, including object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, and column-family databases.
