Requirements

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git/VCS
Strong knowledge of Databricks and data modeling/engineering
Experience with lakehouse/data platform architecture, Python, Spark, and SQL
Proficiency in data pipelining, orchestration, and cluster management
Excellent English communication skills
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar

Nice To Haves

Databricks Asset Bundles is a plus
dbt experience is a bonus
German language skills are a significant advantage

Responsibilities

Directly support and empower Domain & decentralized development teams, acting as a technical guide and gathering feedback to continuously improve platform utility.
Leverage strong expertise in Databricks and SQL to guarantee data quality and provide reliable data for analysis and business processes.
Act as a primary consultant, guiding teams on data engineering best practices and effective platform use, fostering a data-driven culture.
Build and orchestrate robust data pipelines, ensuring data reliability, accessibility, and readiness for analytics and ML.
Leverage CI/CD expertise to create efficient, automated, and scalable data workflows for development teams.
Monitor and guarantee data quality, making it transparent across the organization.
Work closely with stakeholders and other IT teams, actively contributing to our data community.
