Développeur(euse) Data

BEEMMontreal, QC
Hybrid

About The Position

At BEEM, we transform the way businesses use their data, from pipelines to BI dashboards and generative AI, so they can make better business decisions. We are an AWS Advanced Tier Partner and proud of what we've built: a complete SaaS platform combined with a team of experts available to support our clients. Our clients are growing mid-market companies across varied industries, like Le Groupe Maurice, EMD Batimo and Coffrages Synergy. They don't manage infrastructure and see concrete results without waiting months. The atmosphere at BEEM offers a perfect balance of professional growth, laughs and strong team spirit. We also know how to enjoy the little things, like a glass of wine or scotch on Thursday afternoons! We're in a strong growth phase, driven by real client demand and growing our team of data and AI experts. We're looking for someone who is deeply technical and ready to own complex mandates without day-to-day coaching. The role is focused on building robust connectors and integrations: you'll work directly in our AWS infrastructure, write quality code published through a rigorous Git workflow with GitLab, and independently manage the technical bridges between our clients' systems and our platform. From time to time, you'll interact with our clients' technical teams to clarify a system or validate an integration approach. This isn't a sales or business consulting role, and it isn't a day-to-day client relationship role either: development stays the priority. This role is posted as Data Developer, with the internal title of Data Specialist, technical track. Permanent full time hybrid position, minimum 2 days per week in the office. This role is for you if you have solid, hands-on development experience and you're looking for real autonomy on systems that have real impact. If you're looking for a purely business analysis or data visualization role, this isn't it.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a dev shop or in a multi-client environment
  • Knowledge of dbt or data transformation tools
  • Experience with complex API integrations (REST, SOAP, varied formats)
  • Interest in data or applied generative AI
  • Comfortable interacting with external technical teams
  • You move fast and take initiative without being asked

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain complex connectors and adapters that link our clients' systems to the BEEM platform
  • Write clean, tested, documented code published to our code review standards
  • Work autonomously in our AWS infrastructure and contribute to its evolution
