About The Position

The Data Coordinator supports the Data & Analysis department and the hospital's need for valid, quality data presented in useful and understandable formats. This support is provided by managing hospital data, developing regular reports, providing data reporting expertise and support to committees and stakeholders, managing and submitting hospital data to external reporting agencies, answering internal data requests from all levels of the hospital including leadership and external requests from legislative or media sources, supporting the OSH Performance System, and supporting the data governance and information management processes through program support, data quality assessments, coordinating with data stewards.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline that included six-quarter units in statistics or quantitative analysis methods and procedures, and one year experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports.
  • OR Four years of research experience using computerized applications to independently gather, compile, and analyze data and prepare narrative or statistical reports AND experience using advanced statistical or quantitative analysis computer applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with data and report development software such as SAP Crystal Reports, Power BI, Power Query, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Microsoft Visual Studio, SAP Business Objects, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of and experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Ability to skillfully collaborate with multiple stakeholders, work with large and complex data sets, quickly and accurately analyze data, and prepare data visualizations and written reports for lay audiences.
