About The Position

Innova Solutions is hiring a Data Consultant III (Data Governance Analyst) to support a client’s Global Information Security Data Governance team. This hands-on role specializes in Data Use Governance and provides oversight for how data is requested, sourced, shared, provisioned, and consumed across applications, reports, analytics, APIs, event streams, AI/ML solutions, and other business and technology processes. The analyst manages Data Use Governance requests from intake through final disposition and publication. Responsibilities include evaluating business use cases, identifying appropriate authoritative data sources, determining applicable agreements and governance requirements, coordinating with data providers and consumers, facilitating approvals, and confirming that metadata, lineage, Data Quality controls, security requirements, and governance evidence are complete. The role requires independent judgment, facilitation skills, and the ability to analyze business and technical information, clarify ambiguous requests, distinguish data providers and consumers from transport mechanisms and persistence layers, and translate complex data flows into clear requirements and documented decisions. The position involves managing multiple requests and stakeholders with limited oversight. This is a full-time, onsite contract position for 12–18 months, working onsite five days per week. Locations are Chicago, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; or Washington, DC. Applicants must be eligible to work on a W-2 basis. The stated pay range is $40.00–$43.00 per hour. Benefits are offered based on eligibility.
