Data Collection Specialist

This role involves performing field visits to collect various types of traffic data, including drone aerial photography and video, MioVision camera and radar unit installations, and manual traffic and parking counts. Responsibilities also include downloading, saving, and processing collected data, preparing field checklists, measuring roadway grades, widths, and distances, taking site photographs, preparing intersection sketches, conducting sight distance evaluations, and inventorying roadway signs, signal equipment, and utility locations. The specialist will communicate regularly with traffic engineers and coordinate with equipment vendors, clients, and sub-contractors, while also tracking count and data collection efforts on a monthly basis.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- 1-3 years of experience
- Candidates must have a valid driver's license
- Candidates must have access to reliable transportation

- FAA Part 107 License
