About The Position

The Data Center/Telecommunications Lead Engineer provides technical leadership for data center, telecommunications, and infrastructure lifecycle management activities. The role covers infrastructure design, equipment installation, telecommunications services management, cabling architecture, asset lifecycle planning, documentation management, and operational support. The engineer leads efforts to ensure reliable and secure infrastructure operations that support mission requirements.

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) delivers IT and engineering solutions to the Federal Government, supporting mission-critical programs across defense and civilian agencies. Its areas of expertise include cybersecurity, program management, enterprise IT, and technical oversight services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing data center hardware and telecommunications services.
• Experience with network infrastructure design and lifecycle management.
• Proven technical leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

• CCNP Enterprise, BICSI, or comparable certification.
