Part Time Data Center Technician Quincy WA Immediate
About The Position
BNS is looking for a part-time Data Center Technician to support a long-term client engagement at a data center in Quincy, WA. This role centers on a weekly overnight maintenance window, with flexible daytime hours for planning and prep. Great fit for someone who wants steady, hands-on data center work without a full-time schedule. The schedule is approximately 20 hours/week (varies week to week). A weekly maintenance window from 11:00 PM–2:00 AM requires on-site attendance. Remaining hours are on-site planning/prep for the maintenance window, scheduled around your availability.
Requirements
- Comfortable working independently during off-hour maintenance windows
- Reliable transportation to the Quincy site
- Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and work on ladders, in confined spaces, and around electrical/ESD-sensitive equipment
- Available to start immediately
Nice To Haves
- Prior IT installation or data center infrastructure experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Support and attend weekly overnight maintenance windows on-site
- Perform hands-on tasks during maintenance (hardware installs/replacements, cabling, rack work, troubleshooting)
- Complete on-site planning and prep ahead of each window
- Follow all client site security, safety, and operational procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation
