About The Position

We are seeking motivated and dependable Entry-Level Data Center Technicians to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and experience in physically demanding environments who are looking to build a career in telecommunications and data center infrastructure. No extensive telecom experience is required. We are looking for candidates who are trainable, reliable, and eager to learn. Attendance, dependability, and a commitment to safety are critical for success in this role.

Requirements

Previous experience in a physically demanding role such as construction, warehouse, electrical work, military service, landscaping, or similar environments
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Comfortable working in a team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

Experience with cable pulling or structured cabling
Knowledge of Cat5 and Cat6 cabling
Experience using hand and power tools
Exposure to data center environments
Background in low-voltage electrical work, telecommunications, or hardware installation
Military experience is highly valued

Responsibilities

Pull and route low-voltage cabling throughout the data center
Assist with installing, assembling, and securing equipment racks
Stack and drill racks together according to project specifications
Label cables, equipment, and infrastructure components
Perform cable termination and porting activities
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively
Support installation and infrastructure projects within the data center environment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow project schedules, procedures, and safety requirements
