What the job involves: We are currently seeking an Intern Data Center Technician to join our team. In this role, you will learn about the latest developments in data center server and networking equipment and components, gain experience in customer facing and developing good communication skills, and have the opportunity to receive hands on training in state-of-the-art data center facilities focusing on installation, configuration, and repair of next generation servers and networking equipment.

Requirements

Actively pursuing or possesses a Bachelor’s Degree.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Permanent US work authorization required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Receive hands on training on data center IT systems and hardware directly from Hudson River Trading, an industry leading automated trading firm.
Establish a reputation as a reliable and personable, team player within the HRT Data Center team.
Establish a reputation as someone who is eager to learn, ask questions, take notes, and strives to learn new processes and procedures with a high level of accuracy.
