About The Position

Securitas is seeking Data Center Security Officers to join their team. This role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at assigned client sites to ensure the security and safety of property and personnel. The position requires a high attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to conduct interior and exterior patrols. Securitas is the most locally focused Protective Services company in the United States, with a mission to protect homes, workplaces, and communities by providing essential security services.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Pass a lifetime background and drug test.
Valid Driver's license.
High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent communication skills.
Professional demeanor.
Comfortable using computers and technology.
High attention to detail.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Professional appearance: Visible body piercing accessories or visible tattoos are not permitted, unless authorized.

Nice To Haves

Could walk up to 5 miles each day, stand for extended periods, and sit for extended periods.
Cell phone use is not permitted while on site.

Responsibilities

Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
Provide for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
