Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience or a strong baseline knowledge of industrial mechanical operations, power management, or HVAC/cooling loops.
  • Proven ability to stay calm under pressure, analyze visual/auditory cues, and trace technical issues to their root cause.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to document complex mechanical events clearly for teammates.
  • Absolute readiness to work fixed 8 &12-hour shifts, including nights, rotating weekends, and holidays within a 24/7 environment.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, maintain sharp close/distance vision focus, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs of infrastructure components.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical certifications (Data Center Certified Associate) or an Associate's degree are highly regarded.
  • Direct background working inside automated utilities, power plants, or high-density computing centers.
  • Familiarity with industrial data center infrastructure management (DCIM) tools and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Perform continuous diagnostic inspections of physical hardware, including complex direct-to-chip liquid cooling systems, power distribution matrices, and mechanical equipment.
  • Actively respond to automated alerts and infrastructure alarms; diagnose root causes of anomalies and isolate system faults efficiently.
  • Coordinate with specialized IT engineers and facility management teams to implement rapid corrective actions and preventative upgrades.
  • Write precise, highly legible incident logs, shift summaries, and compliance reports to guarantee operational continuity between shifts.
